Easy Pray: Twenty-five Years in a Cult, a memoir by Robin Amber Norris

From coercive control to healing and empowerment. Rewriting my story.

Robin Amber Norris is an author and survivor who reclaimed her autonomy after twenty-five years within the controlling confines of the Unification Church, also known as the Moonies. After surviving its rigid structures and an arranged marriage, she rebuilt her life from the ground up, overcame complex PTSD, and emerged determined to empower other survivors. Today, Robin lives in Shoreline, Washington, where she focuses fully on her lifelong love of writing. Her forthcoming debut memoir, Easy Pray: Twenty-five Years in a Cult, blends a deeply personal narrative with a cognitive and neurological framework for surviving institutional manipulation.
